Our Approach

KAPPA is an acronym for "Knowledge and Power Preparatory Academy"

All KAPPA scholars must strive to gain knowledge so that they can empower themselves and their communities.

All KAPPA students are referred to as “scholars.” A scholar is a learned person that has much knowledge. As a scholar, it is your responsibility to:

1. avidly read
2. ask critical questions
3. be open-minded
4. learn about your community, culture and the world
5. be an active and vocal citizen
6. volunteer and participate in community service projects
